This workshop for 9th and 10th graders and their families will discuss what students can do now to be well-prepared for the college admissions process. It will offer insight into what colleges are looking for, advice on researching colleges and developing a college list, and guidance on standardized tests and campus visits. The session will also include a brief overview of the Common Application and Coalition Application, including benefits of using the Coalition’s “locker” feature, as well as the role of the college essay and basics of financial aid.
